Reni Erdmannshausen
Reni is the dog that you find once in your lifetime. She is the reason that we decided to start our kennel. We wanted to maintain her traits in our kennel bloodline.
It is difficult to describe a perfect dog! She is the essence of a versatile hunting dog. In the field she is a bird finding machine and, in the water she is a superior dog; expressing her commitment to find and retrieve with her hard search.
Reni has hunted since the age of six months. She has hunted the states of Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Nevada, California and Mexico collecting an impressive experience on Sharptail, Hungarian Partridge, Chukar, Quail, Pheasant, Ducks and Geese.
As a finished dog she finds and handles all game, remains steady to wing and shot, retrieves shot game, backs other dogs on point, and honors other dogs in the water. She is a perfect tracking dog that excels in recovering crippled game. She scored a perfect 4 in the deer blood tracking test and in all drags: including furs and feathers.
